Instructional Video

Here is my movie:) This is an example of a video that one of my students would make and turn in for a project or a group project.

  1. Your video was well planned. I liked your simple, straight-forward explanations of the physical effects behind the crushing can. It was a little jarring when the music kept coming on and off... maybe a slow fade in and fade out would have eased some of that. Great job!

  2. I would have liked to see your face as well instead of just the demo. but I liked it. Another thing that could have made it better is to have an animation explaining what was going on. Cool video though!

  3. I love this experiment! Also I think you did a great job of covering all your bases when it comes to questions about how and why it works. I never worried about why water doesn't fill the can, but at least one high school student would definitely ask.

  4. Hey Liz! Cool video! I really want to try this now. As for your video editing, I thought your use of music for dramatic effect was fun. I think one thing that could make your video more accessible to students is to include a picture or diagram of the can with pressure arrows and such to go with your verbal description. All in all, awesome video!
